Beard transplantation and moustache transplantation can be carried out after age 20-22 when hormones reach basal levels. Beard and moustache transplant offers you the possibility of recovering your physical appearance and also your self-confidence incase you are experiencing some problems with non-growth of beard and moustache hair or the presence of empty spaces, or you just want to get a higher density. In our clinic we offer two techniques for beard & moustache transplants: Sapphire FUE and DHI FUE. Our experts determine the facial hair and moustache line that suits you the best, the number of grafts and the application plan.

SAPPHIRE FUE TECHNIQUE

In this technique channels have a major influence on the density, angle and direction of hair growth, which are the determinants of obtaining a natural appearance. For this reason, opening of the channels is considered to be the most important process for a successful operation. The best possible way to open micro channels can now be achieved through the sapphire blades. Hair follicles will be transplanted into these channels. The small incisions, which are at the same length of hair follicles, are created using sharp, smooth and durable sapphire blades varying in sizes of 1,0 -1,3 – 1,5 mm. As a result more channels can be opened, enabling the hair follicles to be transplanted more closer to each other.

DHI FUE FACIAL HAIR TRANSPLANT

DHI FUE transplant technique is rather similar to a scalp hair transplant which involves extracting donor hair on the back or sides of the hair. Preparation step involves hair-cutting but in the DHI technique this is optional. transplantation site is disinfected. With this technique it’s possible to restore your facial hair without cuts, scars or pain. Facial area is designed according to the needs of the patient and the defined symmetry. The area of application is sterilized and local anesthesia is applied to prevent patient from feeling any pain. Local anesthesia is administered either by needle or needleless. Unlike the other techniques, there is not a step involving canal opening. In this technique, site creation and graft implantation is performed simultaneously. The hairs are placed and planted to the receiving site by the use of a CHOI Implanter Pen. This pen can both open the canal and transplants the hair. Patient can continue his routine life after the operation.
